On Corporate Sponsors

I'm always filling in application forms for funding. It seems part and parcel of being a working artist these days. As with days of old, most artists now require patronage, on one level or another, to continue to work. Authors who sell millions are few and far between, and the starving artist look is so last season!

But frequently we come up against moral dilemmas in our search to put food on the table. This is why I was so glad to read Kirsty Logan's blog on the matter at Ideas Tap. Check out 'On Corporate Sponsors' and see what she has to say about arts, patronage and being patronised.
