Crispy Duck

Peter Tatchell has written a rather thought-provoking article over at Pink News about Quentin Crisp, which you can read here. In it he argues Quentin Crisp wasn't a gay rights hero, even if he was an icon, because the guy simply had a bad attitude when it came to gay rights and equality. I guess he's right, but a gay hero doesn't have to be a political hero, just as a gay person doesn't have to be a political person. Whether they should be political or not is another discussion . . .
