So what is an illustronovella?

Take a look here.

'An illustronovella is a mixture of prose and graphic novel, combining pages of text that one would normally find in a novel, along with pages of sequential comic book artwork.' -Harry Markos, Markosia Publishing.

An illustronovella bridges the gap between comic and novel, and so makes the reading experience more accessible. It's perhaps more appropriate in our multimedia society, because it satisfies the visual and textual desires of the reader. Plus it'll look bloody brilliant!
